Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Samuel L. Jackson and Judge Mathis on a yacht together? Surely, a lot of money to burn. Well, as per reports, Johnson spent $7.5 million on the experience with his friends and their spouses. The luxury yacht’s charter prices were around $1.25 million weekly and the group spent six weeks traveling and exploring new places!

The voyage was in August 2023 but photographs recently resurfaced, as reported by ‘Finurah’. Their adventures started in Antibes, France. From there, they headed to Italy and visited places like Portoffino, Capriccioli and Capri. They also visited Greece and Montenegro before ending the journey in Dubrovnik, Croatia. So, they visited five countries in total.

The group participated in day excursions. They also stayed in San Dominico Palace in Taormina and the Four Seasons hotel in Sicily. While these places are quite expensive, they still aren’t comparable to the cost of renting a luxury yacht. Magic Johnson, who officially became a Billionaire in October 2023, surely did not hold back in splurging on the trip. But what did he have to say about the vacation?

“Tonight we enjoyed an incredible dinner at the world-famous Da Paolino Ristorante aka the lemon tree restaurant in Capri, Italy!” Johnson shared on social media. “AND I got to hang out with my great friend and the greatest basketball player to ever live, Michael Jordan, and his wife Yvette, Sam and LaTanya Jackson, Judge Greg and Linda Mathis, and John and Vicki Palmer.”

Johnson surely enjoyed the Mediterranean food and entertainment. In fact, he even dressed as a Greek God.

But once his friends left, Johnson and his wife continued the trip with their children and grandchildren. From jet skiing to luxurious dinners, it seems Magic Johnson enjoyed a lot. The rented yacht had three swimming pools, jacuzzis, a fitness room and wellness center, movie theaters, a bar and even a hair salon. It also had a 29-member crew for the guests.

Magic Johnson entered the elite Billionaire club!

In October 2023, NBA Hall of Famer Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson was officially declared a Billionaire. With this achievement, he joined the likes of Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Tiger Woods. His dear friend ‘MJ’ has been a part of this list since 2014 and as of 2023, he is a part of the Forbes 400 list.

His estimated net worth is $1.2 billion. The former NBA player also owns a minority stake in a PepsiCo bottling plant outside Washington D.C. Clearly, after a successful NBA career, he has ventured into business in multiple lucrative streams.
