The video was captioned, “The Thompson brothers (Amen and Ausar), who are playing against each other for the first time tonight, brought their twin girlfriends to the game.”

However, what caught the attention of the NBA fans was how one of the twin sisters claimed to be in a relationship with Jake Ferguson. Haley and Hanna Cavinder gained fame through their TikTok videos, while they also made a mark in college athletics. Commonly known on social media as ‘Cavinder-Twins,’ the duo led the Miami Hurricanes in the NCAA back in their college days.

That might be the foremost reason why the two decided to attend the twin night. Furthermore, Jake Ferguson, an NFL player representing the Dallas Cowboys, even confirmed his relationship with Haley Cavinder in 2023 via an Instagram story. On top of that, the video of the sisters just catches them saying how the two are excited about the game and nothing of the sort, even slightly related to how they are connected to the Thompson Twins.

Debunking the claim that the Thompson twins are dating the Cavinder twins, the caption holds no ground. As there is no know-about related to the dating life of the Thompson twins, the captions stand null and void. Hence, the dual bobbleheads and the renaming of the game night as ‘Twin Night’ are the only highlights.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder are former Miami Hurricanes stars

Hanna and Hailey Cavinder were born in California back in 2001; however, it was not until 2017 that she represented a basketball team. Although the duo was very athletic since the very beginning, it was their move to Gilbert High School in Arizona, where they started pursuing basketball. Haley Cavinder, the elder sister, finished high school basketball with a stellar tally of 2,282 career points.

The two played the positions of point guard and shooting guard for Fresno State in 2019, exhibiting great numbers on the scoreboard. From 2022 to 23, the duo even represented the Miami Hurricanes while signing deals with Boost Mobile and WWE, owing to the name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals. Also, testing the waters on social media platforms, the twins debuted in 2019, when the world was grappling with COVID-19.

Having a lot of time to spare, the two started to get traction through their videos. Currently having a following of over 4 million, the Cavinder twins seem content with their career right now as Haley hints towards a comeback in her recent reel on @haleycavinder. While Hanna Cavinder seems to be taking a break from basketball, Haley still plays for the TCU Horned Frogs of the Big 12 Conference.
