‘Fast and Furious’ actor Vin Diesel was accused of sexually harassing female assistant Asta Jonasson in 2010 while filming ‘Fast Five’.

Asta Jonasson has just filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles accusing Vin Diesel of sexually assaulting her in the actor’s hotel room, Vanity Fair reported. In the lawsuit, Asta said that that night she was asked to wait in Vin’s room and when the others left, the actor grabbed her wrist and pulled her onto the bed. She said she asked Vin to stop, but he approached and “started touching and kissing” her breasts.

The lawsuit states: “Ms. Jonasson was scared and fiercely refused and just wanted to find a way to get out of that room to both ensure safety and keep her job. But this hope ended when Vin Diesel fell to his knees. lifted Ms. Jonasson’s skirt up to her waist and groped her, caressing her thighs.”

Asta claimed that Vin tried to pull down her underwear but she screamed and ran into the hallway. Vin allegedly followed and pushed her against the wall, placing her hand on his genitals. The plaintiff claims the actor then pleasured himself while she “closed her eyes, trying to escape the sexual assault and avoid making him angry”.

Hours after the incident, Asta said she received a phone call from Vin’s sister informing her she was fired, less than two weeks after starting the job. “She clearly felt she was fired because she was no longer useful. Vin Diesel used her to satisfy his sexual desires but she resisted his attack,” the lawsuit states.

Asta Jonasson said she was hired by Vin’s production company while the actor was filming Fast Five in Atlanta. Her job includes organizing parties, accompanying Diesel at events and staying close to him in case the actor takes pictures with girls without his long-term girlfriend.

Explaining why she kept this secret for so many years, Asta said she couldn’t speak out until now due to a non-disclosure agreement, but California’s Speak Up Act now allows her to do this.

In addition to the sexual harassment allegations, Asta Jonasson also sued Vin and the company for other issues such as gender discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, hostile work environment, wrongful termination and private hatred. The petition also accuses Vin Diesel of trying to cover up the incident, causing Asta Jonasson to endure humiliation, mental and physical suffering.

Asta Jonasson later went on to work in the entertainment industry as an assistant and production coordinator, among other jobs.

Representatives of Vin Diesel and the company have not yet responded to this lawsuit, according to Vanity Fair.

Vin Diesel was born in 1967, is a famous American actor and film producer. He is most loved for his role as racer Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious film series. Vin and his sister Samantha Vincent are producers of several Fast & Furious movies.
