It’s perhaps no wonder that Steve is eager to make his marriage with Marjorie work, given everything she’s done for him.

Not only has she apparently made him a better person, but she’s also pulled him out of some dark spots in the past. There was a time that his mental health took a significant turn, and he struggled with depression.

His mood was so low that Steve couldn’t even get joy out of music, something that he’s incredibly passionate about. Given that he hosts a radio show, not being able to connect with these tunes was quite concerning. Thankfully, Steve’s depression didn’t last forever. He revealed on his talk show that Marjorie helped him see the light when he needed it most.

She wanted to file a defamation suit against Mary for her 2011 allegations

Marjorie has clearly been Steve’s rock throughout a lot during their marriage. That includes all the times that Mary has reignited their bitter feud and tried to destroy his reputation. Marjorie’s taken a back seat throughout most of this drama, offering her husband support without publicly acknowledging the legal issues.

However, in 2011, she found it hard to remain silent after Mary accused her of being a homewrecker. Her allegation that Steve had moved on with Marjorie before their marriage was over left his third wife eager to file a lawsuit of her own. However, her husband was the one who ultimately fought back, allowing Marjorie to avoid getting her hands dirty. Fortunately, she hasn’t needed to threaten a defamation suit against Mary since that incident.
