Kanye West suddenly publicly apologized in Hebrew on his personal website for his anti-Semitic comments. This is the male rapper’s first apology after months of being boycotted by audiences and brands.

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outbursts caused by my words or actions,” said Kanye West’s statement after being translated into English, “It was not my intention to hurtful or disrespectful. I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.”

“I pledge to learn from this experience to become more sensitive and understanding in the future. Forgiveness is important to me and I am committed to making amends to promote unity,” the male rapper continued.

This statement by Kanye West came after TMZ published a video of the star making anti-Semitic views at a private event in Las Vegas (USA) two weeks ago. Previously, Kanye was also criticized for anti-Semitic comments on social networks.

Continuously making incorrect statements about Jews over a long period of time has caused Kanye West to lose his billionaire status because many brands cut ties with him.
