Ivan Toney offered mind-blowing contract in Saudi Pro League that would change his life forever

Ivan Toney has an incredible contract offer on the table from the Saudi Pro League, reports claim.

Brentford striker Ivan Toney has a mammoth, life-changing offer from the Saudi Pro League on the table, reports say.

Toney has been heavily tipped to leave the Bees this summer, ahead of his contract expiring at the end of season.

Spurs and West Ham were both linked but cooled interest after being successful in acquiring other targets.

Reports say Chelsea and Manchester United remain interested, with Brentford now dropping their transfer valuation from £100 million to £60 million.

A loan with an obligation to buy is one potential arrangement rumoured, but Toney is also said to be the subject of a lucrative deal from Saudi.

Unlike last summer, clubs in Saudi have not splashed the cash as much this time around – with not too many high-profile arrivals.

But according to Santi Aouna from Foot Mercato, Toney is a target for Saudi side Al Ahli, who have Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, Franck Kessie and Gabri Veiga in their ranks.

As per the report, Al Ahli are prepared to offer Toney a massive salary increase of £15 million per year.

A three-year contract has been offered to the England international, meaning he could collect a whopping £45 million playing in the Middle East.

Toney would be earning around £300,000-a-week, a considerable upgrade on his Brentford pay packet.

Brentford’s capture of striker Igor Thiago for a club-record £30 million led to many believing Toney was destined to leave.

However, Brentford boss Thomas Frank is still hopeful of Toney remaining at the Gtech Community Stadium.

“So far, he’s still a Brentford player,” he told Sky Sports.

“I think we’re getting closer and closer to the reality that he is actually a Brentford player.

“I’m getting more and more excited because he’s a top player and I love working with Ivan. We’ve got a fantastic relationship. That’s why I think he will be a Brentford player after the deadline.”
