While the movies initially found success back in the day, recent years have left fans somewhat disappointed. Thus, to fix what’s broken, the only way is to incorporate Jackie Chan, Dwayne Johnson, or even both together into the ensemble cast. Here’s how!

Who better to join an action-packed film that is also a love child of the 80s and 90s, than Jackie Chan? A legendary figure in action and martial arts, Jackie Chan has yet to grace the screen alongside Sylvester Stallone. Although reportedly, Stallone did aim to include Jackie Chan in The Expendables series, however, conflicts came in the way regarding scheduling, and thus, Chan couldn’t join The Expendables 2 and furthermore chose not to appear in The Expendables 3 for a bigger role.

Jackie Chan’s inclusion in the franchise would most certainly add a unique touch, especially if his role in The Expendables 5 were to push boundaries further by casting him as the film’s antagonist. Given Chan’s rare portrayal of villains throughout his career, this film could be significantly hyped up if the fans were teased with such a plot element. Even if not a villain, Chan could bring a lot of eyeballs required to revive the franchise once again.
