But the 69-year-old actor also wants to be a part of other movie genres. In many interviews, the actor from Hong Kong has expressed his interest to be cast in movies that are not action movies.

Jackie Chan started his career as a stuntman and the actor leaves no stone unturned when it comes to perfecting an action sequence. Chan is definitely on the list of best actors when it comes to doing action movies, but the Police Story actor wants something more than that. During an interview, the Drunken Master actor revealed that he is tired of playing a cop from China or Hong Kong or a spy character.
The actor expressed his interest in doing romantic and dramatic movies. While explaining his interest in other genres, the actor said that he wants to be a part of movies like Emma Stone’s La La Land. While talking about doing different genre movies, the actor said,
“Can I have something like a La La Land, something different. Nobody hires me for this kind of romance, on a beach slow motion, singing songs and kissing. It’s always action action jumps stunts.”
The Ride On actor said he wants the filmmakers to know that he is interested in doing different genres as well. Chan wants to explore other types of characters as well.

Many people compare Chan to the legendary Bruce Lee, but the 69-year-old actor doesn’t think he can dare to get compared with the legend. The Hidden Strike actor said that he is very small in front of the huge star, Lee. The Rush Hour 3 actor also said that he can never surpass the late actor. In another interview, while talking about his acting career, Chan revealed one more actor he looks up to and wants to do movies like. The Who Am I? actor wants to do movies like Robert De Niro. While talking about De Niro, the actor said,
“ I want to change, I don’t want to always do Rush Hour 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. I want to let the audience know I am the actor because action star life is very short. I want to be like Robert De Niro. Like you can do so many roles.”
Jackie Chan was recently seen with wrestler and actor John Cena in their movie Hidden Strike. The film arrived on the big screen on 6 July 2023. People are now excited to watch the actor in Rush Hour 4.
