But when it comes to thrillers, she is a delight to watch with her subtle emotion flaunting in the action. Personal Shopper came close to perfection to being categorized among the best horror movies blended with artistic storytelling. Stewart was simple in it yet her performance spoke volumes, it’s haunting and engrossing, at least many critics would agree to that. But when it comes to the talk of ghosts in her real life, the Spencer actor is rather close to the idea of it. “I talk to them,” Stewart told Vanity Fair in an interview.

“If I’m in a weird, small town, making a movie, and I’m in a strange apartment, I will literally be like, ‘No, please, I cannot deal. Anyone else, but it cannot be me.’ Who knows what ghosts are, but there is an energy that I’m really sensitive to. Not just with ghosts, but with people. People stain rooms all the time.”
Stewart’s Personal Shopper definitely left a mark on the specific horror fans who are not bothered by the traditional notion of horror throwing scare at every glance rather than developing a better storyline. Personal Shopper is considered a uniquely crafted horror thriller, indeed.

Kristen Stewart is Scared of Water

If one thing Stewart is particularly scared of, it would not be ghosts rather she tries to avoid going into the water at all costs. However, her scare would not hinder her professional life as the Twilight actor is set to make her directorial debut with The Chronology of Water, a movie dealing extensively with water. The Chronology of Water is based on the memoir by Lidia Yuknavitch and will star Imogen Poots in the lead. Speaking of her gravity of fear of water Stewart revealed that she is far from being a great swimmer.

“I don’t want to enter the water, ever,” she told Vanity Fair. “If everyone’s going in the ocean, I’m like, No. When I’m in the water, I doggy-paddle.”
Yuknavitch, however, “came very close” to convincing Stewart to swim together. “It’s a little scary for Kristen, but when she talks to me about it, she gets that great look in her eyes,” she told the outlet.

“So we sort of have this lingering date with destiny. It’s no big deal, you get in a pool with someone and flap around a little, but because of this feeling I have, that the cosmos sent this creature hurtling toward me that was going to change my life, it seems like a kind of secular baptism.”
As it seems, Stewart is trying to overcome her fear of water through her directorial venture. Her directorial debut with a short film, Come Swim which she wrote and director was also about water.
