When it was first announced that Margot Robbie would essay the role of Barbie, fans couldn’t be more delighted with the casting. There couldn’t be a better fit for the role of Barbie than the Suicide Squad star. The movie will mark a new high in her career, which began with the 2013 movie About Time. Though Robbie made her presence felt in the movie, her first big break came a year later, featuring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street. The movie would turn everything upside down for her (in a good way). But at the time, she was not so sure about her choice.
The The Wolf of Wall Street wasn’t a walk in the park for Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie was not the star she is today when she made her debut in The Wolf of Wall Street. No wonder the chance to work with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese was a mouth-watering prospect for her at the time.
Yet the role wasn’t without its challenges. Looking back at the time in an interview with The Globe and Mail, Margot Robbie revealed that she had a hard time while performing a scene where she had to seduce Leo because of one detail.
Margot Robbie and the impossible act

Margot Robbie had to perform a bunch of steamy scenes while on set, even baring her all once. But there was a scene that was more difficult for her to pull off than that. It was a scene that involved the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star taking off her underwear using her heels.
The 33-year-old star revealed what her first response to the script was. She said,
“I remember thinking I read it, ‘That’s just impossible’.”
Robbie even practiced the scene, but to no avail, as she came to the stark realization that she was right – pulling that off was actually impossible.
How Margot Robbie had to deal with a lot of humiliation while shooting the seduction scene?
Margot Robbie found the seduction scene quite uncomfortable
Margot Robbie’s prayers didn’t go unheard, as that part would later be removed from the seduction scene. But that didn’t make it any better. The Babylon star still found the seduction scene a little humiliating. She said,
“It doesn’t come across when you are watching a movie, but in reality, we are in a tiny bedroom with 30 crew crammed in. All men. And for 17 hours I am pretending to be touching myself. It’s just very weird, and you must bury the embarrassment and absurdity deeply and fully commit.”
It’s been years now. But one wonders whether or not Margot Robbie had buried the ghosts of this humiliation.
