Scarlett Johansson’s brush with an unfortunate mystery former boyfriend, who was ‘so attractively unavailable’!

Scarlett Johansson is a gifted actress who has won the hearts of fans around the world with her amazing performances and enchanted appeal. However, even celebrities like her can go through the low points of toxic relationships.

Although the actress, 39, is currently happily married, there was a time when she was only trying to keep her sanity in a toxic relationship. In 2016, the Black Widow actress revealed to Cosmopolitan that she had reached her “low point” in a relationship with an unidentified former boyfriend.

The person was “forever unavailable” but “attractively unavailable”, according to Johansson, and she frequently put her own life on hold in an effort to be closer to that person. It is safe to say that even a celestial beauty like Johansson has experienced her fair share of romantic setbacks. Since 2020, the mother of two has been happily married to Colin Jost.

Scarlett Johansson Hit ‘Rock Bottom’ After Dating Someone Who Was ‘So Attractively Unavailable’

In the May 2016 issue of Cosmopolitan, Scarlett Johansson revealed more about the anonymous person, acknowledging that she frequently put her own life on hold to get closer to him. The MCU actress claimed to have hit “rock bottom” when dating her ex-boyfriend.

Johansson, who is regarded by many media outlets as one of the most beautiful women in the world, added:
“Long, long ago, I had someone in my life who was forever unavailable…but, like, so attractively unavailable. You have to get to your breaking point. Rock bottom is the moment when you’re like, ‘I’ve lost myself. Why am I standing outside this bar at 1:30 in the morning texting while my friends are inside? Or taking a taxi to see him at some ungodly hour? This isn’t me’.”

Even though toxic relationships often begin innocently, unanticipated events can turn them into nightmares. And this was how they finally brought her to her lowest point, which she was blind to. She added the following advice:
“That is the moment you’ve gotta cut it off. Otherwise, it will keep coming back, s*ck your blood.”
In 2008, she married Ryan Reynolds, but the couple separated in 2011 following a three-year marriage. In November 2012, following her breakup with Reynolds, Johansson started dating an advertising agency owner, Romain Dauriac. That October, they tied the knot, but later got separated in the middle of 2016 and were officially divorced in September of the same year.

Scarlett Johansson on Plans to Defund Planned Parenthood

Speaking about her own personal experience with the gender wage gap in Hollywood, Scarlett Johansson said she “feels a little obnoxious” but continued to support Planned Parenthood in the Cosmopolitan interview.
“I make a really good living, and I’m proud to be an actress who’s making as much as many of my male peers at this stage I think every woman has [been underpaid], but unless I’m addressing it as a larger problem, for me to talk about my own personal experience with it feels a little obnoxious. It’s part of a larger conversation about feminism in general.”

Johansson is accustomed to being in prominent relationships. Before relocating to her current home with her husband, Colin Jost, she was romantically associated with actors Josh Hartnett and Ryan Reynolds. As she was accustomed to being in committed relationships, she was never one to go on dates too frequently. However, as a result of her experiences, the actress found the one thing that actually helped a relationship work out for her.

Previously, she told MTV News:
“I think I’ve found that relationships are only going to work out when you’re really yourself and you’re not posturing in any way. You’re just honest with who you are. … There’s a difference between compromising something and compromising yourself.”
