Scarlett Johansson’s range in acting is one that has allowed her to reach places in the Hollywood industry many only dreams of touching. She happens to be one of the highest-paid actresses in the world. Furthermore, her experience in the industry has led the actress to break any stereotype that might surround her. However, some experiences left a sour impression on her.

Woody Allen and Johansson have a relationship that strictly revolves around their professional lives. Allen did initially reveal that the actress did not have to audition at the start because of his poor social skills. He saw different movies of hers and spotted potential which he realized could be increased by a lot. All the actress needed was the right push, one which Allen was willing to offer.
Scarlett Johansson Did Not Like A Steamy Scene In Match Point
Scarlett Johansson worked with Woody Allen on Match Point where she played Nola Rice alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ Chris Wilton. Although the actress has done a lot of explicit scenes, one, in particular, was so bad that she just couldn’t help despising everyone around her, especially Allen.

“I mean, getting fully wet and drenched, especially when you’re wearing jeans, is like the most unpleasant thing, especially when you’re all nice and toasty, and they’re like, ‘We’re going to dump buckets of water on you.’ At first I was like, ‘I could just get wet in the rain.’ They were like, ‘We have to make you drenched.’ I really hated my costumer that day. I really hated Woody that day, too.”
The actress had a scene with Meyers that required both of them to be soaking wet, drenched in water. The pain happened to be the fact that she was wearing jeans. The very gruesome conditions in which she was working made the very scene extremely uncomfortable for her physically.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers Was In Awe Of Scarlett Johansson
Jonathan Rhys Meyers was also able to see the potential that Scarlett Johansson possessed. Much like Woody Allen, he was also looking forward to the actress reaching places where she deserves to go. However, he was concerned about the path she would choose.
Scarlett Johansson
“I don’t want to read about her in the paper with this boyfriend or that boyfriend, or in rehab or taking pills.”
He was worried she would go down the wrong path and be reduced to how intoxicated she gets and how many drugs she takes. Meyers wanted her to get even more serious about her acting, much like how Meryl Streep is. And seems like she did just that for herself.
Match Point is available to watch on Hulu.
