Margot Robbie recalled,
“We got a new babysitter, and I wanted my old babysitter back, Talia, who was like 16, and I thought she was so cool. We got this much older lady in, and I was just not happy about it, and she told me to go have a bath, and I didn’t want to, and she was very cranky, and I thought, ‘I’m going to show you.’ So I got a big kitchen knife and the ketchup, and I sprawled out naked on the tiles, covered myself in ketchup, put the kitchen knife, and I waited like 45 minutes for her to find me.”
The interviewer asked her if the babysitter ran away screaming, to which the actress said,
“Oh yeah.”
The actress shared that she had done the prank because she did not want to take a bath.
Ryan Gosling’s epic reaction to Margot Robbie’s scary prank
Margot Robbie’s confession of a childhood prank was quite disturbing, however, another interesting fact of the interview was her co-star Ryan Gosling’s reaction. In the interview, he was amused to hear about Robbie’s childhood story and dramatic effects. Gosling was too stunned as he said,
“You produced your own death.”

However, her theatrical performances did not stop there as she recalled another incident,
“I also once practiced like a pratfall on the cinema stairs at the shopping center where I’m from and people called an ambulance. So I guess I was a bit of a dramatic child.”
Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling’s film Barbie was released on 21 July 2023.
