At 65, the veteran actress, Sharon Stone has probably seen it all. She most definitely has enough racy material to fill more than a few memoirs, spanning her early modeling days and her more than ten-year Hollywood career.

Stone received criticism for not being ‘s*xy’ enough when she first arrived in Hollywood. She even wrote in her candid autobiography, The Beauty Of Living Twice that her manager informed her that no one would hire her because “I wasn’t, as they liked to say in Hollywood at the time, ‘f***able’.”

Well, in the 1984 film, Irreconcilable Differences, Stone filmed her first topless scene, which she once recalled as being a terrifying experience.

In the Charles Shyer-helmed film, Drew Barrymore, Ryan O’Neal, and Shelley Long also starred. The Casino actress also claimed that the humiliation during her first film was deeply ingrained in her.

Sharon Stone’s Humiliating Moment in Her Debut Film

Sharon Stone has not shared a lot of information about her career. However, in 2018, she did laugh in the face of a CBS news reporter when he asked if she had ever felt uneasy on set. This implied that she had a lot of unpleasant experiences.

Well, the actress also provided an explanation of the need for intimacy coordinators on film and television sets in an issue of Attitude Magazine (per The Independent). She described an early professional incident that left her feeling uneasy.
“They didn’t have [intimacy coordinators] in my day. When I did my first movie, which was ‘Irreconcilable Differences,’ I had a topless scene. And they didn’t even clear the set. Everybody’s on set, like a million people on the set. And I take off my top and this actor screams, ‘Would you get out of the f***ing way? I can’t even see her t**s’.”

And this incident, in fact, caused her to feel terrified, as she continued:

“I [was] so terrified. You know when you can hear your heartbeat in your ears? That’s all I could hear.”

Another Humiliation Faced by Sharon Stone

In a November 2019 interview, Sharon Stone discussed her time as a cast member of Paul Verhoeven’s 1992 suspense film, Basic Instinct, which is known for its iconic ‘leg-crossing’ scene. At the Berlin GQ Men of the Year Awards, she recalled:
“Some years ago I was sitting on a sound stage and my director said, ‘Can you hand me your underpants because we are seeing them in the scene and you should not have underpants on, but we will not see anything.’ I said, ‘Sure.’ I didn’t know this moment would change my life.”

The 1992 Paul Verhoeven-directed neo-noir erotic thriller film is well-known for its explicit s*x scenes. The Total Recall  actress continued by stating:
“People have every right to be powerful in whatever form of s*xuality we choose to have and no one is allowed to take that away from you,”
Anyway, you can watch Basic Instinct, which is streaming on FuboTV.
