OnlyFans is a content subscription service platform that was initially used by s*x workers. However, it soon emerged as a big platform when celebrities started joining it and started sharing exclusive content with their fans.
The 25-year-old, Bella Thorne generated over $1 million in revenue in the first 24 hours after debuting on the platform in 2020. Even a rep from OnlyFans admitted her success and stated that she at the time became the first content creator on the NSFW platform to earn that much sum in a day. Just a week later after her mega debut, Thorne said that her revenue had grown to $2 million.
She has been using the subscription-based platform to display her personal content available only to paying subscribers. According to her rep, she has been active on the platform and responds to every message she receives from her followers.
Though things were going pretty well for her, it also brought her in a negative light at the same time when reports started circulating that she was scamming people for her NSFW content with a huge sum.

The actress set her price of the OnlyFans content subscription at $20 per month. In just a day, she accumulated a huge revenue that could be unattainable by many people, especially s*x workers who had been relying on it for income. That led to a backlash from the other content creators on the platform.
Things got more out of hand when reports started swirling around about the actress, who was allegedly selling her NSFW content for $200 on pay-per-view. It enraged many people for her alleged scam with the platform introducing new rules just when the incident was fresh.
With the changes in the limits of the pay-per-view service and payment policies, many started blaming her for the same, even though OnlyFans told Vulture that the “changes to transaction limits are not based on any one user.”
Though they did not directly address her matter, Thorne eventually had to issue an apology for joining the platform.
