On April 10, 1992, Sadio Mané was born in Bambali, Sédhiou, Senegal. He is a forward for Bayern Munich of the Bundesliga and the Senegal national team.

He plays football professionally and is from Senegal. He is highly recognized for his quickness, dribbling, and pressuring. He is recognized as one of the best players in the world and one of the greatest African players of all time.

Mané started his professional career at the age of 19 with the Ligue 2 team Metz but left after only one season to join the Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2012.

In the 2013–14 season, Red Bull Salzburg won both the domestic league and cup. Later that summer, Mané moved to Southampton in England for a then-club-record cost of £11.8 mιllιon.

One of the three departments that make up the Sédhiou Region, which was once a part of the Kolda Region, is the Sédhiou Department, one of Senegal’s 45 departments. The communes of Diannah Malary, Marsassoum, and Sédhiou make up the department.
