Man United might not be able to sell him.
Manchester United fans aren’t happy after Fabrizio Romano revealed that one player out of favour under Erik ten Hag doesn’t want to leave the club.
After United only managed an eighth-place finish in the Premier League last season, a major revamp was needed at Old Trafford this summer.
Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee and Noussair Mazraoui have all been added to Erik ten Hag’s squad, and there could yet be more signings before the window closes on August 30.
A host of first-team and young players have headed in the other direction, including Willy Kambwala, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Raphael Varane.

United could do with shifting some more ‘dead wood’ to free up wage space if not transfer funds, and defender Victor Lindelof falls firmly into that category.
The 30-year-old centre-back, who joined United from Benfica in 2017, has entered the final 12 months of his contract nad appears to have no future under Ten Hag.
While injuries to his teammates meant he featured in 28 games last season, his own hamstring and groin issues kept him out of 22 matches.
The Sweden international has made 259 appearances for the club, but he is now firmly behind the likes of Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Yoro and even veteran Jonny Evans in the centre-back pecking order.

£120,000 per week is a big salary for a bench-warmer, so United fans would understandably like to see Lindelof moved on before the end of the window.
While United are trying to make a move happen, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that it’s more likely the defender will leave the club next summer when his contract expires.
Romano told The United Stand that the Swede is reportedly quite happy for that to be the case, as he is not desperate to leave Old Trafford.
It’s fair to say that United fans aren’t best pleased.
“Another player milking the cow dry,” one fan wrote on X, while another commented: “Every player wanna stick with the big paycheque.”
Back in January United triggered a 12-month extension in Lindelof’s contract in the hope of selling him this summer, but an injury picked up during pre-season has complicated matters.
