On Wednesday, the Indiana Fever beat the Los Angeles Sparks, 93-86. The Fever now own an 18-16 record and have won five games in a row.

Caitlin Clark, once again, led the way for Indiana, tallying 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, her second triple-double of the season. Aliyah Boston added 24 points and 12 rebounds.

But the play of the game goes to Fever guard Lexie Hull.

With less than a minute left to play and the Fever up by only three points, Kelsey Mitchell missed a 3-pointer. But Hull came in clutch for Indiana, hustling into the paint to grab the offensive rebound.

After gaining possession, Hull was fouled, putting her at the line. The former Stanford Cardinal hit both free throws, putting the Fever up by five and sealing the win.

WNBA fans were impressed with Hull’s last-minute heroics and took to social media to say the same thing about her: clutch.

“If there was one word to describe Lexie Hull it would be clutch,” one fan said.

“LEXIE HULL CALL HER LEXIE HUSTLE ONLY 4 POINTS BUT CAME THROUGH WITH THE CLUTCH OFFENSIVE REBOUND AND FREE THROWS TO SEAL THE GAME.”

“LEXIE HULL RECEIVES A STANDING OVATION FOR THE CLUTCH OFFENSIVE REBOUND.”

“Bruh lexie hull clutch player of the year.”

“Lexie hull is so clutch.”

“Lexie Hull has been so clutch in the fourth quarters.”

Hull is in her third season with the Fever after being selected with the No. 6 pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft. In 27 games played this season, Hull is averaging 5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists. She has earned a spot in the starting lineup in the past few games.
