TikTok star Chanen Johnson, the wife of New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson, has revealed how much it costs to watch her husband play football on a weekly basis. The 27-year-old made the admission to her three million social media followers, providing a unique insight into how much it costs Taylor Swift to watch Travis Kelce play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the video posted to her TikTok account, Chanen responded to a fan’s question asking if NFL stadiums have “a family room” so that player’s partners can watch the action.

“No,” Chanen said in response. “I feel like this is a common misconception because a lot of the times whenever you see families on TV it’s because they’re [the cameras] are catching a glimpse of them in their suites or where they’re sitting at with their families. But it’s not free. The regular bad seats aren’t free, let alone the suites.”

Chanen went on to reveal how much it costs to see her husband in action, adding: “I would say the cheapest suite you can get is maybe $18,000 to $20,000 [per game], which honestly isn’t a bad deal when you really think about it.

“Basically I know there are a lot of girls on teams that will get together, they’ll all get 20 girls and they’ll all pay $1,000 [each] and they get a really nice suite together. There are, however, rooms that we can meet up with the guys after the game, like family rooms for a post dinner. By no means is there a specific room for girls to watch together unless we go out of our way to purchase it.”

In the caption to her video, the 27-year-old noted that some families can pay up to $50,000 for a suite, but added that they are “Kinda worth it.”

The news came as a surprise to fans in the comments, but also provided an interesting insight into how much it has cost Taylor Swift to watch her new flame Travis Kelce in action.

The “Anti-Hero” singer has seen the Chiefs’ tight end in action four times since the start of their relationship. The games include wins over the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers.

Hypothetically if Swift had paid for a suite on each occasion, the singer would have parted with at least $72,000. Even if she did decide to split the costs it would have accumulated to $4,000. In comparison, the average ticket price to watch an NFL game ranges between $150 to $200 – according to ticketsmarter.

Fans will have to pay even more for international games, including the Chiefs’ upcoming tie against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday (Nov. 5) at the Deutsche Bank Park in Germany. It’s unlikely that Swift will be in attendance for the game with the international leg of her “Eras Tour” starting on Nov. 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina
