Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have a complicated relationship as an ex-couple when it comes to sharing their children’s important moments. This was evident this Friday, when both attended, each one on their own, to their son Saint‘s basketball game. While the couple tries to keep a low profile so as not to interfere with their children’s spotlight at their own events, it was clear that Kim and Kanye are not having a good time together.

Kanye arrived alone to the event, while Kim arrived with her daughter Chicago. Already during the game, a paparazzi photographed them at different times, including a brief and awkward interaction, in which she addressed him, although it is unknown what they talked about.

The images confirmed that the two don’t want to be too close, other than for the bare essentials, as, although they sat in the same row, they did so several seats apart. At one point, Kanye was texting on his phone and Kim was chatting with Saint. Her other children, North and Psalm, were not in attendance at the game.

She appeared to remain cordial as she interacted with her ex while daughter Chicago, 6, stood between them.

West, who was wearing a black T-shirt, had his back to the camera as Kardashian looked on.

She seemed to remain cordial and came to the game dressed casually in a black baseball cap and white tank top. He chose a black T-shirt. The two had their backs to the camera while Kardashian looked at him.

Kim and Kanye divorced in 2022 after a seven-year relationship, although she filed for divorce a year earlier and they assumed a co-parenting relationship and since then they only get together to support their children.

According to TMZ, the former couple continues to have problems, now on issues related to raising their children, among them, Kanye‘s anti-Semitic comments, praising Adolf Hitler and Nazis, something that strongly upset Kim.

In a December 2022 interview, Kim admitted that it was “f***ing hard” to share parenthood with Kanye in an interview with the Angie Martinez podcast IRL. “It’s really f**king hard.”

She even claimed that she has tried to protect her four children from witnessing their father’s behavior, as she recalled that her father, Robert Kardashian, was “the best dad” and wanted the same for his children.

“I had the best memories and the best experience and that’s all I want for my kids, as long as they can have that,” Kardashian said.
