Taylor Swift’s ex Joe Alwyn looks ‘reluctant’ in public as singer’s ‘type’ is revealed

Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn looks “reluctant to show off” as he’s seen in public almost 10 months after the couple’s split, with the singer’s “type” now revealed by an expert.

In April 2023, it was revealed that Taylor, 34, and her long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn, 32, had split up. The former couple were together for around six years, with them keeping their relationship mostly out of the limelight and under wraps.

At the time, reports claimed that the pair called it quits over “differences in their personalities”. At the time, Taylor was touring America with her Eras Tour and had just seen a huge amount of success with the release of her album Midnights just months before.

Taylor has now moved on with a new love interest, Travis Kelce from the Kansas City Chiefs. The couple got together in the summer after the hunky NFL tight end expressed his interest in the blonde beauty. They then went public with their romance in September.

And now, after months of not being seen, Joe Alwyn – the hitmaker’s British ex – has been spotted for the first time in 2024. Joe was in Paris for fashion brand Loewe’s Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 show on Saturday. He was seen arriving and leaving the event, with him seated close to Zayn Malik from One Direction at the event.

Body language expert Judi James has now analysed Joe’s body language while at the event, with her revealing that he appeared “reluctant”. She said: “It looks clear from both Joe’s body language and his looks that Taylor Swift does not have a ‘type’ when it comes to her men. Alwyn is a world away from the strong, physical, sports-star presence of Kelce and, unlike the often beaming, camera-keen Kelce, Alwyn manages to look politely reluctant to pose up for the cameras.”

Judi went on: “His signals of reluctance place him in a high-status celebrity role as it suggests he has no need whatsoever to court publicity or show off any ego or vanity. He walks quickly past the fans and the cameras and when he does pose on the red carpet it almost looks like an afterthought.

“Nicholas Holt seems to be leading the way when it comes to posing here and Alwyn casually pitches up to look into the lenses with a part smile. He also poses with his hands clasped in front or his torso which again suggests a more guarded approach,” she added after seeing a video circulating X.

Concluding her analysis, Judi wrapped up by saying: “Overall he looks cool and he fits well into the world of high fashion, with his understated styling that suggests it takes him little effort to look this good. His wardrobe and Kelce’s would look as far away from each other on the fashion spectrum as possible.”
