Taylor’s relationship with Jason and Kylie Kelce is said to be among problems Travis and the pop star encountered in recent months

TRAVIS Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift has reportedly hit a bump in the road – fueled by a brewing feud between the music superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s family.

The Chiefs star’s brother – Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce – and his wife Kylie are said to have had mixed feelings about the NFL power couple.

Travis, 34, and Taylor, also 34, have allegedly endured their first big fight, caused by Kansas City’s late-season slump.

The tight end reportedly didn’t take the Christmas Day loss to the Las Vegas Raiders – the Chiefs’ third in the past four games – well, putting a damper on the holiday festivities, per Life & Style.

The pop star’s relationship with Jason and Kylie has been adding to the tensions between the couple, the magazine added in a story published last week.

“Taylor hasn’t had the best reception from Jason and his wife,” a source told the outlet.

The source claimed that things took a turn for the worse in November when Kylie commented on the attention her family had received in the past two months – a period coinciding with Travis and Taylor making their romance public.

“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera,” she said.

Asked if she would attend a Chiefs-Eagles game, Kylie explained: “I’m a stands girl. I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans, even if it’s in an opposing team’s stadium.

“Travis has a lot of people that come to games, appropriately so, everyone loves to support him but it means that it’s a tight squeeze in there.

“Also, it’s fun to cheer and not feel like the entire room’s rooting against you.”

Many thought Kylie’s remarks were a dig at the 12-time Grammy winner – and the Anti-Hero singer apparently shared a similar view.

“Taylor took that personally and since then it’s been very awkward,” Life & Style’s source said.

The source added Taylor’s friends think that Jason and Kylie are jealous of the artist and how much buzz her relationship with Travis generates.

“Taylor understands that it can be exhausting, but she can’t help that everything she does becomes front-page news,” the source added.

Jason has publically expressed concern about the amount of interest Travis’ private life started to generate since his romance with Taylor began dating sometime in late summer.

In October, the All-Pro center told NBC Sports’ Peter King that he was “happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he’s excited about, that he is genuine about.”

But, he added: “This is another level of stardom that typically football players don’t deal with.

“And so on one hand, really, really happy for my brother and where he’s at in his current situation with Taylor.

“But on the other hand, there’s some, I think, alarms sometimes with how you know, over-in-pursuit people can be.”

Notably, Taylor sought advice from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, rather than Travis’ family when the pair dealt with a rough patch over Christmas, Life & Style’s source said.

Kansas City’s tight end reportedly “wasn’t himself for days” after the loss to the Raiders.

“He snapped at Taylor and they had their first fight,” the source said.

“He apologized after but Taylor definitely felt hurt and confused. It was rough.”

Brittany – who’s seemingly become good friends with the singer – told Taylor to “let Travis lick his wounds, but it wasn’t easy,” the source said.

Taylor is said to have even considered cutting her holiday stop in Kansas City short over fears the December 31 game against the Cincinnati Bengals would ruin their New Year’s.

However, the Chiefs won and the couple welcomed 2024 together with a midnight kiss, captured by onlookers.

Taylor bearing most of the grunt travel-wise – even though the Chiefs tight end flew to Argentina for her Eras Tour concert in November – has reportedly been a source of friction as well.

As have the rumors claiming the NFL star wants to use the relationship for fame and become the new Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Life & Style’s source claimed.

But, the magazine reported, friends are hoping Travis and Taylor can overcome their problems.

And recent rumors suggest they’ve been moving past them, regardless of whether the musician and the athlete’s family started to get along or not.

The lovebirds could reportedly even get engaged later this year, according to Page Six.
