Actor, and singer Britney Spears, also popularly known as “Princess of Pop,” recalls her two-week fling with actor “Colin Farrell” in her memoir “The Woman In Me.” The 42-year-old Spears mentioned how she ran into his film set back in 2003. Back then, Farrell was shooting “SWAT,” a 2003 film directed by Clark Johnson.

“Well, talk about balls — I got in my car and I drove up to the set of his action movie, SWAT,” the pop star wrote. She elaborated “Who did I think I was? There was no security or anything, so I went straight onto the soundstage, where they were doing a set piece in a house. When the director saw me, he said, ‘Come sit in my chair!’” (source: Entertainment Weekly)

Britney Spears wrote how Colin noticed her on his set and asked her if she had “any pointers.” By saying that he was inviting her to direct him, as the singer mentioned in her book.

On her short-term romance with Colin Farrell, Spears wrote in her memoir, “Brawl is the only word for it—we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight.”

Their mini-love story began when Birney found that her ex-boyfriend ‘Justin Timberlake’ had been sleeping with six or seven girls in the weeks after their official break up of a three-year relationship. As she figured out, she decided to move on and her friend set her up with Farrell.

The Grammy Award winner mentioned how she gets embarrassed looking at the pictures of her and Colin when he took her to the premiere of his film “The Recruit,” as she was wearing a pyjama top to a precise event. The “Crossroads” actress added that she was very excited about attending the premiere as “Colin’s whole family was there, and they were so warm to me.”

Britney also added that she avoided getting “too attached” to Colin as she still hadn’t gotten over Justin back then. Neither did Farrell reveal anything about their relationship officially then.

Eventually, the couple broke up and Spears got married to Kevin Federline in 2004. She had two sons named ‘Sean Preston’ and ‘Jayden James’ before they separated in 2007. Farrell has two sons named ‘James’ and ‘Henry’ with model Kim Bordenave and actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś respectively.
