Meanwhile, the couple’s daytime outing comes amid speculation that they had secretly married.

Speculation began three weeks ago, when Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus, uploaded a screen grab of a digital camera to Instagram, containing an image of his daughter beaming in a white frock.

Fans took note of the cryptic post, questioning whether Miley and Liam had in fact wed.

‘Wedding??’ one asked in the comments section, while another posted: ‘Omg is that a wedding dress?’

However days later, Billy posted the same image of Miley, with a new caption: ‘Whoa! Don’t jump the gun. Been at work #StillTheKing Glad to see so many love @MileyCyrus the same as I do #happy.’
