Helen Flanagan has discussed life as a newly-single woman for the first time after her split from  fiancé Scott Sinclair.

The actress, 32, told how ‘life is good’ as she adjusts to a new routine and revealed how she is preparing for her first Christmas with her family.

The pair broke up earlier this month and share three children with; Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and 18-month-old Charlie.

She told The Sun at the ITV Palooza when quizzed on how she had been feeling in the wake of her split: ‘Good! Life is good!’

She added about her festive plans: ‘I’m the only one around my house who has got their Christmas lights up .

‘We’re probably [going to be] at home, I’m having a new dining room which I’m very excited about, so yes, Christmas at my house.’

She also divulged that she was using her time to focus on work on social media, teasing ‘working with fashion brands’.

Helen put on a very leggy display as she hit the ITV Palooza red carpet at London’s Royal festival Hall on Tuesday.

The star, who was without her engagement ring, looked sensational in a black blazer mini dress while posing up a storm at the star-studded event.

Helen’s chic Lavish Alice frock boasted one sleeve as well as a sculpted asymmetrical neckline and hugged every inch of her exquisite figure.

The stunner added height to her frame with a pair of bejewelled heels which she matched to a diamond choker.

Opting for a glamorous palette of make-up for the evening with a slick of bubblegum pink lip gloss, Helen let her blonde tresses cascade to her shoulders.

It comes after the Coronation Street star is reportedly planning an epic return to the soap, following her split from Scott.

A source told The Sun Helen has been ‘missing’ her soap family and playing the character, and with nothing holding her back she feels now could be the perfect time for a return.

The source said: ‘Helen’s talking about plans to return – not this year, but maybe late next year. Bosses have made it clear they’d welcome her back and she sees the soap cast as family.

The insider added: ‘What was stopping her before was looking after her kids and Scott’s football career – she never knew where he’d sign next or where they’d live.

‘But now she’s single she’s talking a lot about going back to Corrie – she hasn’t had any official meetings yet but it’s something she’s talking about.’

Helen is yet to publicly address the rumours that she has broken up with her footballer partner in detail, the father of her three children, after a 13-year romance.

However she did share a cryptic post back in August about starting ‘a new chapter’ where she was pictured not wearing her engagement ring for the first time.
