Speaking to OK! Magazine, a source shared that Jennifer plans to host a get-together closer to the holidays for her Friends family. She’ll reportedly host the soiree at her Bel-Air home. The last time the co-stars reunite was on November 3rd for Matthew’s funeral.

“She has an amazing house and the Zen feel of her place is exactly what the occasion calls for,” they explained. “She’s planning a really nice evening with good food, some wine and lots of candles and soft music. She’ll break out the photo albums and candid videos and maybe even have a slide show.”

The insider went on to say that Jennifer hopes it’ll be an opportunity for them to grieve together, as the funeral was so public.
“They’ll reminisce about some of their favorite times with Matt and share stories and laugh and cry,” the source explained. “The funeral was such a sad occasion, but it was mainly for Matt’s family, and they held back out of respect for them.”
Matthew’s cause of death was recently revealed; the actor passed away from the effects of ketamine usage. Matt had been open about his struggles with substance abuse but was believed to be sober at the time of his passing. Ketamine is being increasingly prescribed by medical professionals, particularly to treat mental health conditions, like depression. Some celebrities have been open about their ketamine usage, such as Pete Davidson.

Matthew’s Co-Stars Are Speculating About His Sobriety

The source told OK! Magazine that Matthew’s friends question whether they could’ve done more to support his sobriety in light of the recent cause of death revelation.

“They wonder what more they could have done,” the insider went on. “But they don’t want to make their get-together a downer. This is about honoring their friend.”

The Friends cast released a joint statement following Matthew’s death, but in the weeks that have followed, they’ve given personal statements reflecting on the actor’s life and their friendships. Jennifer opened up earlier this month, revealing that she texted Matt on the day of his death, adding she didn’t believe he was in a bad place.
