As reported by Page Six, “multiple sources” revealed that Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap production company was interested in adapting Spears’ book. Not only the Barbie star’s production company but Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and Brad Pitt’s Plan B were also in the line.

Although, at the 2023 2023 Variety Power of Women Los Angeles event, Robbie confirmed told to Access Hollywood that the involvement of LuckyChap is “not true.” “No, I’m just hearing that tonight. It’s not true,” Robbie said. When asked if she would ever consider playing the singer, the actress added, “It’s not true, it’s not true.”

The Suicide Squad star’s LuckyChap was behind the blockbuster Barbie and the upcoming Saltburn. For those who are who are unknown, Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine produced Big Little Lies. While Pitt’s Plan B produced She Said and Blonde in 2022.

Britney Spears
According to Ankler (who first broke the news), the Toxic singer, at “the last minute” rescheduled a recent meeting with a top producer. Though the name of that producer is not known yet because she “didn’t feel up to it”.

Sources said that Spears was “overwhelmed by the response” and the “media frenzy surrounding it,” at the time of the release. This led her team to “hold off on making any major decisions about where the rights end up until she has time to catch her breath.”

Despite this, Ankler has reported that Spears is also in talks for a documentary. As per Forbes, the rights to the picture can cost up to $4 million, but Britney Spears can raise them to $40 million.
