Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan revealed she’ll be spending Christmas away from her children.

Helen shares her three children –  Matilda, eight, Delilah, five, and two-year-old Charlie – with her ex-fiance and professional footballer Scott Sinclair.

The Rosie Webster actress split from her former partner in November 2022 but remains on good terms with him as they co-parent their brood together.

The couple’s kids are reportedly spending the holidays with Scott in Bath over the festive break and Helen has opened up about missing them on the big day, as well as revealing her own plans.

She told Closer: ‘My children really miss their daddy and they’re very close to their nanna, so they’re going to spend Christmas with them.

‘I won’t have them for about four days. It will actually be the first Christmas that I don’t have my children.’

Helen and Scott were engaged for four years before calling it quits after she left for I’m A Celebrity filming in South Africa, according to The Sun.

At the start of November last year, a source told the publication: ‘She’s into all things spiritual and had a feeling so she sought guidance from a psychic medium.

‘Helen and Scott really tried to work on their relationship but ultimately she saw the ring breaking as a bad omen and one that meant she shouldn’t get married.’

Following their split, Helen revealed how she was dealing with her new life as a singleton: ‘Good! Life is good! I’m the only one around my house who has got their Christmas lights up.’
