Helen Flanagan gave fans an insight into her ‘weird’ Christmas as she shared a gallery of snaps after spending the holiday without her three children. 

The soap star, 33, shares Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two, with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, 34, and as it was his turn to have the children for Christmas, Helen ensured she kept herself busy.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Helen revealed she wasn’t in the festive spirit without her brood but showed how she spent the week without them.

Addressing her one million followers, she confessed: ‘Wasn’t really feeling Christmas this year, felt weird without the kids but next year I’ll be festive ❤️My week around Christmas on my camera roll ✨’.

She then proceeded to explain the circumstances around each snap, with the first image showing the mother-of-three wowing in a plunging scarlet dress with a racy thigh split.

Helen said of the occasion: ‘Dolling myself up for a night out but probs drank too much ( never helps when you feel rubbish)’.

In her next snap, Helen was seen flashing a peace sign in the back of a cab as she revealed she was addressing her premenstrual dysphoric disorder and thanked Vicky Pattison – who has been vocal about her issues with the severe premenstrual syndrome –  the symptoms women can experience in the weeks before their period.

Helen explained: ‘Finally doing something about my PMDD Thankyou @vickypattison for being a support x I get SO emotional just before I bleed x other women that have this condition please comment ✨’.

The next snap saw her posing makeup-free with her rarely-seen brother Tom, writing: ‘Christmas shopping with my brother for his wife x love him so much and always funny x’.

Another makeup-free image cradling a McDonalds delivery was up next as she explained: ‘Me as a skatty mess at my friends apartment. Loosing my keys ect. I do have ADHD and I’m managing it really badly at the moment [sic].’

She was glammed up for the next image but admitted: ‘Having to keep my coat on at dinner because my dress ripped in two.’

Helen then moved onto a candid selfie in the tub as she mused: ‘Spotty and hungover in the bath, WHY am I still spotty at 33, hope my hormone meds help ✨.’

Later on her Stories, Helen revealed she was set for a reunion with her children as she snapped a picture of herself packing for their family trip to Bali.

Earlier this month, it was alleged that Helen was set to spend Christmas in Bali with David Haye and his girlfriend Sian Osborne.

However close friends of the star dismissed the claims and insisted she is ‘very single’.

Friends of Helen’s told MailOnline: ‘She’s happily single and happily dating and it’s completely false that she’s in a throuple. She’s not going away with David’.

It was previously alleged that Helen and David, 43, were planning to meet up on the Indonesian island for Christmas where his girlfriend Sian would also be present.

Yet Helen revealed she would not be spending the day with her childrenfor the first time and she would be staying in Bolton with her parents.

She told Closer: ‘My children really miss their daddy and they’re very close to their nanna, so they’re going to spend Christmas with them. I won’t have them for about four days. It will actually be the first Christmas that I don’t have my children.’

Helen added that she will have the kids back after December 25, and will be whisking them away to Bali with her friends – not David – to ring in the New Year.
