Helen Flanagan has revealed she will not be spending Christmas with her three children this year, for the first time.

The former Coronation Street star, 33, shares Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two, with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, 34.

The actress and the Bristol Rovers footballer split in July 2022 after 13 years together and co-parent their children.

Helen has explained that this year the kids will be spending the holiday with their dad and his mum in Bath, while she remains in Bolton.

Speaking to Closer, she said: ‘My children really miss their daddy and they’re very close to their nanna, so they’re going to spend Christmas with them.

‘I won’t have them for about four days. It will actually be the first Christmas that I don’t have my children.’

However, Helen added that she will have the kids back after December 25, and will be whisking them away to Bali with her friends to ring in the New Year.

It comes as the soap star has been linked to David Haye, 43, in recent weeks after she was spotted deep in conversation with the boxer and his girlfriend Sian Osborne in May.

This sparked speculation at the time they could have been lining Helen up as the latest member of their throuple.

The actress is said to have enjoyed a number of dates with David, while his long-term girlfriend Sian, 31, is reportedly fully aware.

In exclusive pictures obtained by MailOnline, Helen was seen chatting to David, who she met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2012, and Sian, at a Heineken after-party following a boxing event.

Onlookers revealed how Helen – who had been single since splitting from Scott last year – was particularly enamoured by the pair, who previously welcomed The Saturdays singer Una Healy into their romance.

The Irish singer, 42, called time on the relationship in March, and claimed that she had been ‘hoodwinked’ into the throuple.

She revealed she had been looking for a monogamous relationship but decided to date polyamorous David because their romance was ‘casual, it wasn’t serious.’

Yet David soon introduced Sian into the fold, insisting the ladies got to know each other while inviting her to come away on holiday with Una.

Although the trio enjoyed an initial short getaway in Morocco together it was on a second trip to Costa Rica that Una realised she could no longer be part of the relationship.

While in Central America she was given a ‘sign’ when she heard the track The Boy Is Mine by Brandy and Monica, a song about two love rivals feuding over a man.

This triggered David to announce an ‘unexpected opening in our team’, hinting himself and Sian – who he’s been dating since 2020 – were looking for someone new to join their throuple.

An onlooker said at the time: ‘After the boxing match, Helen was sat down in a quiet corner at the Heineken party.

‘David marched past the crowd with Sian straight to Helen, who looked happy to see them and gave them both a hug.

‘The couple were equally enamoured to be in her company. Their faces lit up seeing her.

‘David was smiling away at Helen who had been turning heads all night in her stunning outfit.

‘David and Helen have known each other for years after starring on I’m A Celeb together in 2012 and they had a lot to catch-up on after Helen competed in the recent All Stars series.

‘They seemed very comfortable and happy to be in each other’s company, and there was some obvious flirting from both sides.’

When David and Helen met in the Aussie jungle, the boxer admitted that he thought the soap actress was a ‘real cute chick’ but said she ‘stunk of fake tan’.

Helen set tongues wagging after taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, sharing a quote which read: ‘I hope next year you fall in love with someone who makes you love the person you are when you’re around them.’

While a second read: ‘Your aura is gorgeous because you make souls feel seen, heard, validated, loved, understood, and supported.’

The source added: ‘Helen and David got on well in the jungle, and so have seen each other a fair bit over the years. But recently they seem to have really clicked and had that chemistry. They’re having a lot of fun together.’
