Helen Flanagan has quipped ‘never’ after returning from her New Year break. The actress was brought back to reality by heading back to the UK after welcoming 2024 in Bali with her three children.

Helen, 33, whisked her three children – Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two – off on holiday with her pal, Beth, after spending Christmas without them. The mum-of-three planned the trip after spending Christmas without her children as they stayed with their dad, footballer Scott Sinclair, and his mum while Helen spent spent the day with her parents up north.

After admitting to feeling ‘weird’ over Christmas, Helen has since been able to enjoy quality time abroad with her youngsters. The former Coronation Street star shared some updates to social media from their break and opened up about it not being all plain sailing when she got back home.

Taking to her Instagram, Helen shared three photos of herself in a green patterned bikini as she posed with the tropical setting in the bathroom. She then told her 1 million followers about the unlucky incident the family had had with a monkey.

“The mum around the pool with the loud kids,” she started the caption of the post. “A monkey took my mui mui sunglasses and Delilah’s Nintendo switch. And I’ve burnt my boobs, too busy making sure the kids had cream on them.” But Helen appeared to poke fun at herself as she shared the post alongside a series of laughing emojis.

Helen has since shared a series of photos to her Instagram Story in which she was joined by two-year-old Charlie as they posed for pictures while on a plane. In one adorable snap, the former soap star and Charlie beamed for the camera, alongside which Helen wrote: “Never travelling again,” alongside a series of crying laughing emojis.

But she was also left watching her son in awe during a quieter moment on their flight when he sat with headphones on, watching intently the screen in front of him. “His beautiful little face,” Helen gushed before adding a white heart emoji.

Helen has since shared a video to her Instagram grid featuring a number of clips filmed during her getaway. “Bali with my babies,” she captioned the post, adding Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams as the sooundtrack.
