In contrast to her low-key look the previous evening, Jennifer wore her blonde locks in loose waves and accentuated her striking features with smokey make-up.

The actress completed her look with a small box clutch bag with delicate silver embroidery.

The thriller was directed and written by Aronofsky, with Jennifer starring alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Javier Bardem.

The couple is expected to make their red carpet debut at the premiere of Mother! at the 74th Annual Venice Film Festival on September 5.

While the couple privately started dating in September 2016, Jennifer insisted they had ‘energy’ from the moment they met in an interview with the new issue of Vogue magazine.

‘We had energy. I had energy for him. I don’t know how he felt about me,’ she told the September 2017 issue, which doubles up as the 125th anniversary edition of the fashion publication.

The duo became a couple once filming wrapped, and the famed director has said they work well together because Jennifer is straightforward to the point of bluntness.

Speaking to the Daily Mail this week, he said, ‘She’s one of the most honest people on the planet.
