Britney Spears has once again displayed her dance moves as she shared a new energetic routine to her Instagram on Thursday.

The pop star, 42, filmed herself twirling around in her house, shaking her hips and even twerking as she laughed.

She slipped into a racy outfit for latest dance clip, sporting a red crop top and a pair of tiny black hotpants.

Britney also wore one blue fingerless glove and a gemstone necklace, while her blonde hair was styled in beachy waves.

Captioning the video, the Toxic hitmaker revealed it was a throwback clip from a Sunday in November last year.

She then recounted a story about teaching a dance class where a young girl was being bullied by the others, saying it reminded her of herself and saying she knows she’s ‘a girl who used to be famous’.

Britney said: ‘Bullying these days isn’t so exposed or aggressive with girls, it’s extremely manipulative and just damn right mean!!!’

She then penned: ‘She reminded me a lot of myself !!! It’s not nice to be downplayed !!! I was open to the advice of others !!!

‘I actually had a situation identical just two months ago with someone I don’t know that well and it hit me later because I was like … oh I’m so relatable I will just sit here and listen to this person’s b******t I don’t even know !!!’

Britney continued: ‘And I did just that until I taught my class and was like … I know I’m a girl who used to be famous way back then and I know I make mistakes !!!

‘I do Instagram out of protection honestly and I like wearing pretty dresses and getting my hair fixed !!!’

The clip comes just days after another dancing post at the weekend, where Britney declared that she was single.

The singer – who split from estranged husband Sam Asghari last summer – described herself as a ‘hopeless romantic understanding that being single is awesome.’

Her love life update came after speculation that she had recently rekindled with her ex Paul Richard Soliz, 37,

Last week, a source claimed to Us Weekly that ‘Britney and Paul are definitely together.’

The insider insisted: ‘He’s still in the picture,’ while another alleged the couple have been quietly taking take road trips to Santa Barbara and that he spends ‘two or three nights a week’ at her place.

They said: ‘She doesn’t like it when he leaves. She feels as though she deserves more attention, but he has to be there for his kids.’

Britney has reportedly met Paul’s children, who are said to ‘like her.’

The pair were first romantically linked after her split from Sam in August, but the following month, news broke that Britney had ended her ‘short fling’ with Paul and that they ‘no longer’ had ‘any communication’ after she learned of his criminal past.

After they initially parted ways, a source told told DailyMail.com exclusively that ‘Britney is not dating Paul. They had a short fling after Sam left but that was it.

‘Britney hooked up with him twice and, at the time, [she] did not know about his criminal past. She no longer has any communication with him.’

The pair met after he was hired to complete housekeeping tasks and maintenance around her house, according to Us Weekly.

While speaking to the publication, Paul revealed he fixed bits and bobs around the house including fixing doorknobs and unclogging toilets.

Insiders told Page Six that Paul was fired from his job working for Britney, but she ‘has still chosen to spend time with’ him ‘and is not trying to hide their new-found friendship.’

According to records obtained by Us Weekly, Paul has a criminal record, including charges for disturbing the peace, child endangerment and driving without a license in addition to felonies for possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a firearm.

Despite his past, Paul previously insisted that he isn’t a ‘bad dude’ in an interview with Backgrid last year.

The father confessed he has a ‘handful of children’ and that the mother of his children has passed away.

He said: ‘I have custody of my children, I’m not a bad dude. I own my own business. I do license contractor technique tile.’

He also disclosed that one of his children was in a 5150 hold, which is a legal code which allows a person with a mental illness to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization.

Paul confirmed at that the time of the interview that he was still seeing Britney and that the singer had been incredibly supportive throughout the court proceedings of his criminal convictions.

He said: ‘She’s a very positive person,’ before noting he wasn’t at liberty to confirm if he and Britney were an official couple, and also called Britney a ‘phenomenal woman’ to Us Weekly.
