Britney Spears is back to stirring up beef with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. This Wednesday (31), the singer published a video on Instagram in which she appears showing off different looks she wore on her trip to Mexico.

In addition to a white dress, Spears posed and danced in a neon green bikini, wearing white boots.

In the caption, the singer sent an enigmatic message, directly mentioning Lynn. “In Mexico now!!! When your sister tells you ‘I love you to DEATH’ you learn to start living,” she wrote.

Lynn never hid her displeasure at being overshadowed by her sister. “I’m proud of her and I love her to death, but sometimes I feel like I have nothing left for myself,” Jamie declared, in the phrase mentioned by Britney.

The relationship, which was never the best, became even more strained in 2022, with the release of the book ‘Things I Should Have Said’, written by Lynn. The singer did not like the description of some personal events in her sister’s autobiography and publicly contested the work.

In June 2023, Britney announced that she had reconciled with Jamie and visited the set of the series ‘Zoey 102’, starring her sister — but the white flag didn’t fly for long.

Lynn did not comment after Britney’s post, which does not allow comments from other users.

The last few weeks have been tense for the artist. After just over a year of marriage, Spears received a divorce from model and fitness trainer Sam Asghari. They had been together since 2016, and the relationship was at the center of some discussions about the end of the singer’s guardianship.
