Singer Britney Spears made a post on Instagram bringing together two versions of the same photo in which she poses with a low-cut bodysuit. One of the images consists of the original recording and the other after photo processing.

In the caption of the post, Spears suggested that the album would be both a response to accusations of the abusive use of image editing tools in her posts, and a possible jab at her mother, Lynne Spears.

The celebrity wrote in the caption of her post: “The second photo is the original and I have been saying… Do I need to repeat it?????? KISS MY MOTHER’S BUTT!!!!!” She also included emojis of a face sending a kiss, another of a mouth and one of a peach.

“You’re legendary, Britney!” exclaimed one person in the comments section of the artist’s post. “I love how ruthless you’ve been recently,” said another. “That’s it, baby!” wrote a third. “WONDERFUL! We know the truth,” said someone else.

The photos were shared by Spears amidst the commotion resulting from the end of her legal guardianship, administered over 13 years by her father and former manager, Jamie Spears.

And she published the images after a previous post in which she stated that her parents should be in prison for the way they managed her life during the 13 years of guardianship.

Britney wrote: “My head explodes daily how my family and guardianship did what they did to me… It was degrading!!!!! I won’t mention all the bad things they did and what they should be in prison for… yeah , including my church-going mother.”

The end of the guardianship was announced last Friday, 12/11, by judge Brenda Penny. The request to end it came from the singer and ended up being accepted by Jamie Spears.

The judge responsible for the case announced: “The court believes and determines that guardianship of the person and their assets are no longer necessary. As of today, the conservatorship of Britney Jean Spears’ person and assets is terminated.”
