Singer Britney Spears, 40, took to Insta to publish some of her famous poses with a reflection in the caption. This time, however, fans noticed possible bruises on the artist’s body – and were divided in the comments.

The information was published by the Daily Star , which echoed a post made by Britney on Thursday (18).

The American singer published a sequence of 10 images of different moments and looks. “Reflecting back!!! That’s me in my fashion videos!!! Looking back gives you an idea of ​​what was done!!! And everything is done, so play along my friends!!! This is just me trying to be pretty!!! I literally suck, but at least I can admit it!” she wrote in the caption.

In the first three photos, Britney poses in a transparent cropped blouse. Many fans, in the comments, noticed bruises spread across her body, in the neck and hip area – and were divided as to their severity.

“She looks bruised and has scars on her chest. Britney is not free,” one user was outraged. “I see that too. She is not free. She is being abused”, said another. “The first three photos… You have a huge bruise on your side!!!???”, asked another. “She needs help, she has bruises on her hips and scratches on her neck…”, the admirer despaired.

Some users, however, were less alarmist. “She has a cat. You should see my chest/arm”, joked one. “She says these photos are not current,” noted another. “So a woman can’t have such minor injuries without people thinking she’s being abused? I don’t even know how I get half of my bruises and I’m not being abused!”, she fumed yet again.

All this repercussion over the singer’s posts comes from the protests that called for her personal and financial freedom amid Britney’s guardianship. She had been under the care of her father, Jamie, since 2008, when she had an outbreak, and only found herself free in November last year, when a judge ordered the end of her legal guardianship.

Several celebrities were part of the #FreeBritney movement, which aimed to free the singer from her father’s care through public pressure.
