But amid reports that Britney’s loved one are becoming worried about her increasingly erratic behavior online, the pop star has made a strange new claim – that someone must’ve robbed her since she can’t find her favorite dress.

Britney Suggested Her Favorite Dress Was Stolen While Traveling

On Friday, December 30, the “Toxic” hitmaker shared a video of herself on Instagram wearing a high-waisted blue mini skirt paired with a sheer top featuring rhinestone embellishing on the bust.

In the caption, Britney revealed the footage was filmed at an earlier time. But what prompted her to share it now was because the dress has gone missing. The singer suggested that a robber may be the culprit.

“Same baby blue dress I wore in Mexico March 31 of this year!!! I decided to bring it back because it was my favorite!!! I wore it before I got on my plane to Vegas two nights ago!!!” Britney wrote.

“But it’s not in my suitcase anymore nor is my new black jacket I bought last night!!!” she went on. “Don’t you hate it when your favorite belongings go missing and people’s response is ‘you got robbed’ with a big smile on their face!!! That’s not very nice!!!”

For now, it remains unclear if the dress was stolen or simply misplaced. Britney’s caption caused confusion in the comments, though she’s declined to provide additional context.

Police Visited Britney’s Home After She Posted Concerning Videos Online

Britney posts regular content across her social media account, some of which has been considered controversial as well as concerning. For example, authorities reportedly visited the singer’s home after she shared a video dancing with knives online.

Captain Dean Worthy from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Us Weekly in September that someone close the star contact police to perform a wellness check after the video went up, though no further action was taken.

“Somebody close to Britney had seen the video posted on social media, where she’s dancing and twirling with knives in her hands and they were really concerned for her mental well-being,” the police representative explained.

Although Gomez was a guest at Spears’ wedding, many believed Spears shaded the singer on Instagram.

“We would normally not respond to fans calling in about a celebrity unless we actually believed that there is a credible threat,” he went on. “However, we vetted this individual through LAPD … and we determined this is someone who knows Britney on a personal basis.”

In a more recent post, Britney reflected on why she believes her past relationships haven’t worked out as she navigates her ongoing divorce from Sam Asghari. He petitioned the court to dissolve their marriage in August following 14 months of marriage.
