Ben Affleck looked stony faced after he was asked about Britney Spears’ claim they once ‘made out‘ this week.

In video obtained by TMZ, the actor, 51, was approached by a photographer in Santa Monica on Friday, who greeted him in Spanish before asking him about Britney’s claim.

Ben, who also speaks Spanish, first lit up when he was greeted – but his smile vanished once Britney was brought up.

The Argo star’s face fell and he remained silent as he continued walking ahead.

It comes days after Britney claimed she had once ‘made out’ with Ben – only to later forget about the tryst.

The pop sensation, 42, made the shocking claim in a now deleted Instagram post. It contained a throwback snap taken ‘years ago’ of her with the actor along with songwriter Diane Warren.

In the Instagram caption, Spears – who also detailed her fling with Colin Farrell in her memoir – claimed the kissing happened the night the photo was taken.

‘Cool pic of me and Ben Affleck and Diane Warren years ago!!!’ she posted to Instagram. ‘He’s such an amazing actor. Did I fail to mention I made out with Ben that night … I honestly forgot … damn that’s crazy !!! Wish I could tell you guys the story that happened before that !!! Oh dear, I’m just being a gossip girl. Psss I actually forgot!’

It’s unclear when the photo was taken but Affleck sported an identical goatee in 1999. That year he turned 27 in August and Britney turned 18 in December.

Britney went on to marry three times since then – she has tied the knot with Jason Alexander, Kevin Federline, and Sam Asghari. Currently, she is in the process of divorcing Asghari.

Ben also said ‘I do’ twice in the years to follow. He was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018 before reuniting with ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez and tying the knot with her in 2022.

Britney and Jennifer Lopez both follow each other on Instagram.

Spears’ post about Ben comes after she spilled the beans on another shocking romance – a two-week fling with Colin Farrell, which she detailed in her memoir The Woman In Me.

The Grammy winner first met Farrell through a ‘club promoter friend’ before visiting him on the set of his 2003 movie S.W.A.T. Their relationship got steamy pretty quick.

In The Woman In me, she likened their ‘passionate’ fling to a ‘street fight’ and wrote they were ‘all over each other’.

‘Brawl is the only word for it – we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight,’ Britney wrote.

The Toxic singer then attended the premiere of Farrell’s movie The Recruit where he told the press: ‘We’re not dating. She’s a sweet, sweet girl. There’s nothing going on — just mates.’

Spears admitted she was still not over her three-year relationship with Justin Timberlake. They met back in 1992 on the Florida set of The Mickey Mouse Club.

‘As I had before when I’d felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case, I was vulnerable because I wasn’t over Justin yet,’ Britney wrote.

‘For a brief moment in time, I did think there could be something there. The disappointments in my romantic life were just one part of how isolated I became. I felt so awkward all the time.’

Britney’s post comes following news her divorce from Asghari is nearly finalized.

According to new legal documents, obtained by TMZ, the 29-year-old actor’s team turned over his financials to the popstar’s attorneys, which indicate they are on ‘the verge of settling.’

This includes ‘the declaration of income and expenses among the required paperwork, as well as a list of assets and separate and community properties.’

The outlet pointed out that ‘filing financial disclosures is often the last step taken in a divorce that suggests all parties are coming to an agreement.’

Sharing information about your finances with your spouse is a requirement for getting a divorce or legal separation in California.
