It’s been nearly two years since Amanda Bynes was released from the conservatorship that she was originally placed under in 2013. Now, a new report says she wants to focus on her career and is even taking inspiration from Britney Spears.

Britney Spears is a worldwide superstar and one of the top 10 selling female artists ever, but how does she rank on streaming platforms?

Amanda Wants To Write A Memoir Like Britney Spears

“She seems to be taking back control of her life,” a source told Life and Style. “Amanda even says she’s considering writing a tell-all, just like Britney Spears. She has been inspired by Britney and how she’s also gone through hell with her own conservatorship and come out the other side.”

Britney released her highly anticipated memoir The Woman in Me in October, and it has set records with its high sales. The book goes into detail about the singer’s upbringing as well as the decade-long conservatorship she was under, which even the timeline parallels Amanda’s experience.

While Britney made $12.5 million for the advance alone for her memoir, there have been no reports of Amanda being offered her own book deal, though she seems keen on the opportunity.

Although Gomez was a guest at Spears’ wedding, many believed Spears shaded the singer on Instagram.

The source went on to say that Amanda isn’t opposed to a return to acting – she’s previously said she’s open to a reboot of What I Like About You? But for now, the insider says Amanda is focusing on other career interests, including fashion and design, which she studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising under her conservatorship.

“Acting isn’t out of the question either,” the source said. “She’s more than ready to get back to work. That’s where she’s focusing all her energy.”

Amanda’s Loved Ones Worry She’s Taking On Too Much

Amanda seemed like she was getting her career back on track earlier this year, when she was scheduled to reunite with All That co-stars at 90s Con in Connecticut.

However, days before the March appearance, the actress suffered a psychotic break and lost contact with her team. She eventually flagged down help on an L.A. street while naked. She was placed under psychiatric hold and hospitalized for a brief time afterwards, though the conservatorship wasn’t reinstated.
The source admitted that there are people in Amanda’s life who believe she’s taking on too much, and it could trigger another breakdown. “There are friends and family who think Amanda’s beginning to take on too much,” they explained. “She’s been through a lot, so they’re worried.”

“All of this stuff she’s got going may seem like red flags, but Amanda says it’s helping her stay on track,” they went on. “Amanda sounds great, and she says she’s happier than ever.”

Amanda hasn’t only been embarking on a career comeback, but also a physical transformation. Earlier this month, the former Nickelodeon tar posted a video addressing her new look and revealing she had cosmetic surgery on her eyelids.

Moreover, Amanda also released a podcast with her on-and-off boyfriend Paul Sieminski this month. Shortly After debuting the first episode, Amanda said she was taking a break from the podcast, only to then reveal it was back on after all.
