We know what Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce can do on the football field, but this past week, NFL fans have learned what the superstar can do on the camera as well.

Kelce’s newest off-field venture took place with the debut of the FX television series “Grotesquerie,” a 10-episode series detailing the work of a detective and a nun who sniff out heinous crimes in their community.

In the series, Kelce’s character — Ed Lachlan — reveals that he is a former male stripper who was “jiggling it for horny mamas coming off of cruise ships.” While that is a hilarious detail for his character to have, fans came together on social media after Kelce’s debut and had a similar reaction to the event: It was pretty good!

“For someone who’s not an actor, Travis Kelce does a really good job in #Grotesquerie” one fan said.

“This man can ACT!!!!” the wildly popular ‘Travis Kelce Fan Page’ account chimed in.

“I need more Travis Kelce in #Grotesquerie. His acting is (pretty dang good),” said another.

In the end, things were summed up pretty well with this single tweet:

While Kelce hasn’t been having the best season on the football field — 15 catches for 158 yards and 0 touchdowns through four games — the Chiefs are 4-0 and looking for another deep run in the playoffs. On top of that, it is clear that when his Hall of Fame career is said and done, Kelce has a long career ahead of him on the big screen, as well.
