United are set to give Erik ten Hag two more highly-rated players to work with.
Manchester United are yet to make any new additions to their squad so far this summer, but are reportedly closing in on two Euro 2024 stars.
United finished eighth in top flight last season in the Old Trafford club’s worst Premier League campaign.
But the season did not end without any silverware as United produced a brilliant performance to defeat Manchester City 2-1 at Wembley to clinch the FA Cup.
In the aftermath of that win, United embarked on a strategic review of the campaign, which included whether to keep faith with current boss Erik ten Hag or to part company with the Dutchman.

And it ended with Ten Hag being backed by the club’s new minority owners INEOS – headed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe – as he extended his contract at the Old Trafford club until the summer of 2026.
With the question of who will be in the dugout next season now put to bed, United can concentrate fully on improving the squad ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
No incomings have yet been secured, but it appears that United are closing in on a double swoop to kickstart their summer transfer acquisitions.

According to talkSPORT, United are ‘edging closer’ to signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, who is currently away on international duty with the Netherlands.
The 23-year-old has a release clause of £34 million in his contract with the Italian club, and it appears United are nearing the acquisition of the Dutch international.
Centre-forward is an area United need to add reinforcements, with Rasmus Hojlund currently the club’s only recognised senior striker.
And the heart of defence is another part of the squad where more strength in depth is needed, following the departure of Varane and Jonny Evans too.
United are also reported to be progressing with their chase for Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt, who is also with the Dutch squad at Euro 2024.
The former Juventus man is known by United boss Ten Hag, who brought the defender into the team at Ajax when he was in charge of the Amsterdam outfit.
Should United manage to sign both Zirkzee and De Ligt, it would be a big boost to Ten Hag and the Old Trafford club ahead of the new campaign.
