Taylor Swift speaks out about the heartbreaking tragedy in England.

Recently, armed police and medical staff immediately appeared at a dance school in the town of Southport, Merseyside (UK) right after receiving news that a knife-wielding man had attacked many people there. This event shocked the world media when the victims were all very young children!

It is known that this is a workshop with activities such as singing, dancing, yoga, making bracelets… on the theme of Taylor Swift and there are about 25 children between the ages of 6 and 11 participating. The time of the horrific incident was at 11:47 – just a few minutes before the program ended.

Two children died in the massacre. Nine others were injured (six of whom are in critical condition). Two adults were also injured while trying to protect the children.

Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said: “Today I am here to announce that two children have died from injuries sustained in a knife attack this morning. When police arrived we were shocked to find so many children seriously attacked and seriously injured…”

Merseyside Police Chief Constable Ackman added: “Nine other children were injured, six of whom are in a critical condition. All of those injured were stabbed in the attack, and two adults are also in a critical condition after being injured in the incident.

A 17-year-old boy from Banks in Lancashire, originally from Cardiff, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He has been taken to a police station where he will be interviewed by detectives.” 

Taylor Swift, in response to the heartbreaking tragedy, painfully wrote on her Instagram story: “Yesterday’s horrific events in Southport have haunted me to the core… The loss of life, the innocent people who have suffered such terrible tragedies, both for their loved ones and those left behind. They were just very young children, attending a dance class! I am completely devastated, my thoughts are with the family at this time…”
