The Anfield club are yet to make any signings this summer under Jurgen Klopp’s successor.
Slot joined the Anfield outfit this summer from Feyenoord on a three-year deal after succeeding the departed Jurgen Klopp, who confirmed earlier this year he would stand down from the Merseyside club.
Slot’s first game in charge in pre-season ended in defeat in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Championship side Preston North End.
The Reds beat Real Betis 1-0 at the start of their pre-season tour in America thanks to Dominik Szoboszlai’s effort, and followed it up with a 2-1 victory against Arsenal.
Goals from Mo Salah and Fabio Carvalho ensured victory, with Kai Havertz netting what proved to be a consolation for the Gunners.
Liverpool have the final game of their American tour when they take on Manchester United, before ending their pre-season schedule with a friendly at Anfield against Spanish side Sevilla.
Liverpool begin their Premier League campaign with a trip to face promoted Ipswich Town at Portman Road on the opening weekend of the top-flight campaign.
There have been outgoings at Anfield this summer with the departures of Adrian and Joel Matip, plus Thiago retiring from professional football following the end of his Liverpool contract.
For now, though, with around a fortnight to go until the new season begins, Liverpool are yet to make a signing.

With it being Slot’s first season in charge of Liverpool, time has undoubtedly been needed for him to assess the squad he has at his disposal.
And some players, such as those who reached the latter stages of Euro 2024 and the Copa America like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Darwin Nunez, are yet to report back.
Despite Liverpool being yet to make a signing under Slot, a new report has suggested the Anfield club will step up efforts to bring in new players over the next week or so – and three specific areas of the squad which will be targeted for strengthening have been named.

According to the Independent, Liverpool are seeking a new central defender, a defensive midfielder and a wide forward player.
Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon has been linked heavily with a move to Anfield this summer, and the report suggests he could be one of two widemen Liverpool bring in to Slot’s squad for a potential fee of up to £80 million plus add-ons.
It is also reported that Slot is still deciding which current players in his squad he will make available to sell, with the funds helping to offset any fees outlaid for new arrivals.
The next week to 10 days will be key to see if Liverpool can bring in reinforcements before the new Premier League season gets under way.
