During this Red Table Talk, Jada Pinkett Smith mentioned how she and August Alsina were initially friends but after a while, they got into what she called an entanglement.

The statements Jada made irritated a few people because not everyone agreed with what she said. A lot of people accused her of being a difficult person and some other people were angry because she made her marriage look bad in public.

Will Smith also had an interview with Oprah Winfrey concerning Apple TV+ and they talked about the state of affairs of his marriage.

They addressed a lot of questions directed at them from their fans about their marriage and Oprah Winfrey also asked Will Smith how long he and Jada Pinkett Smith were separated.

It was during that same time of their separation that Jada Pinkett Smith mentioned her relationship with August Alsina. He explained that he was not officially separated from Jada Pinkett Smith but it was an understanding that both of them came to, deciding to give each other space and live alone.

Will Smith has also made it clear that he is life partners with Jada Pinkett Smith and they will continue being life partners no matter what happens.

Actually, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith make a great team if you think about it. Although Will Smith’s first marriage ended as a divorce, he has made it clear that he wants to ensure that his marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith does not fail.

During an interview with GQ, Will Smith mentioned that the choice to separate from each other and make each other happy was a mutual understanding between him and his wife.

During this interview he mentioned and I quote “Jada never believed in a conventional marriage. She had family members that had an unconventional relationship.

So, she grew up in a way that was very different than how I grew up.” He also mentioned that the life that they currently live is smooth for both of them and also said “We have given each other trust and freedom with the belief that everybody has to find their own way and marriage for us can’t be a prison.
