I only met Scarlett Johansson once, quite a few years ago. It was in Glasgow, where a friend was part of the crew of a film they were shooting, and I met him for drinks in a pub where the entire team had just dropped in after a day of shooting.

I didn’t get to talk with her a lot, obviously, but she was a very friendly woman and a good sport; she made jokes with everyone, was familiar with the crew and didn’t make a fuss about anything, even though they had been on the road for the entire day.

So there you go. She’s a normal human being.

I’d just like to add that I responded merely to express my own, short, experience. That particular film though, as was pointed out in various comments here, was shot almost entirely in a van, in Scotland, in horrible weather, and Scarlett Johansson did it for very little money at a time she was making a ton working for Marvel.

Not only does that imply a certain dedication to her craft, but to be on such good terms with the crew and so comfortable with everyone says a lot about the kind of person she is”.
