Don’t expect the actor to release a parenting book any time soon.

Scarlett Johansson has expressed her dismay at famous parents who give chapter and verse on how to raise their children.

Taking to News.com.au, the Avengers and Her actor said: “I’m such a newbie at this.”

Johansson added: “I always really hate it when actors or people in the spotlight make giant grandiose statements about parenthood because it’s so, so personal.”

“And I don’t profess to know anything more about parenting than anybody else,” she continued.

“I have not lived as a woman. I have lived as a man. I’ve just done what I damn well wanted to, and I’ve made enough money to support myself, and ain’t afraid of being alone”

“I want to be representative of my race – the human race. I have a chance to show how kind we can be, how intelligent and generous we can be…”

“I want to say to you who think women cannot succeed, we have brought the government of England to this position, that it has to face this alternative: either women are to be killed or women are to have the vote”.

Johansson’s daughter Rose Dorothy Dauriac was born in September 2014. She married her partner, French journalist Romain Dauriac the following month.

Johansson also believes that motherhood will help with her work.

“I think having any kind of huge life-changing event happen to you, such as having children, and it’s such a different life now in the best possible way, is very, very inspiring,” she said.

“I think it will hopefully enrich my work as well as my understanding of myself. That’s the hope anyway, you never know.”

Gwyneth Paltrow, mother to daughter Apple and son Moses, is one of many celebrities to give advice on how to bring up kids.

Paltrow has previously said that she only lets her children watch cartoons in Spanish or French, advises laying out school uniform the night before, and allows occasional sweet treats before bedtime.
