Michael Jackson’s sons have been without their dad for over fourteen years.

The two have kept a relatively low profile and it’s clear they don’t use their famous father’s name to get by.

Prince Michael Jackson is the oldest of Jackson’s three children and was born to Debbie Rowe in 1997.

Prince Michael Jackson II – known in his childhood as Blanket but now as Bigi – was born five years later to an unknown surrogate.

Alongside their sister Paris, 25 – who is also the daughter of Debbie Rowe – the boys were raised by Jackson until his death in 2009.

Since their fathers’ passing, the sons have seemingly kept their distance from the limelight.

Prince graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in business administration in 2019 before starting a foundation to help young people living in Los Angeles.

Heal Los Angeles was established in 2016 by Prince and John Muto. The foundation states its mission is to ‘improve the lives of young people’ through ‘impactful programs’.

One such program involved delivering food to people during the COVID pandemic. Heal Los Angeles is reportedly partly inspired by Heal The World Foundation, set up by the late King of Pop in 1992.

Prince believes that his dad would have appreciated his charitable endeavors.

In 2020, he told Entertainment Tonight: “I would like to think that [my dad would be] be very proud, because I think this was one of his main goals – not only to spread his message of positivity and happiness, but to see it enacted in his kids.”

The elder Jackson son is also running a production company.

Not much is known about what his younger brother is up to.

Bigi, who has taken on the name since 2015, first entered the public eye way back in 2002 when his pop icon father dangled him off a hotel balcony to groups of paparazzi and press below.

He is reportedly best friends with his big brother.

The pair were recently snapped in Las Vegas on what would have been their dad’s 65th birthday following a Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil showing on 29 August.

Back in November 2021, Bigi stepped back into the spotlight alongside his brother and sister to call for action against climate change.

However, their recent appearance seems to have had a lighter tone as the two sons greeted adoring fans with one MJ supporter handing them a picture of Jackson with an angel on it as they all shared their favorite memories of the singer.

They also both took a number of photos with fans.

While the sons focus on philanthropy and activism, the sole Jackson daughter is pursuing a career in film and music, just like her old man.
