“’Every six months that rumour seems to start.”

The couple tied the knot in Byron Bay in December, and Robbie said their lives are “pretty chilled”.

“We don’t really fight. I know that sounds weird but we are not people who like conflict,” she said. “We don’t need to yell at each other to know that we love each other. So, it’s pretty chilled in our house. We get along really well.”

Robbie was recently nominated for the Best Actress Oscar for her role in ice-skating biopic I, Tonya.

The 27-year-old took to social media to share her joy, posting a picture on of her hugging her brother Cameron.

She wrote: “Me & my lil bro just 15 hours ago. No better place to receive such exciting news – with my closest friends and family in my home country.”

Cameron posted the same picture to express how “proud” he is of his sister.

He wrote: “There’s nothing I could say that articulates how proud I am of this one #whatamoment #academyawardnominee!”

Other nominees in the category are Meryl Streep (The Post), Frances McDormand (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water) and Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird).
