Taylor Swift appeared to be having the time of her life as she enjoyed a girl’s night out with her longtime best friend Selena Gomez, Zoe Kravitz and Cara Delevingne.
The famous group of pals turned heads as they arrived to Lucali in Brooklyn, where Anya Taylor-Joy joined them for dinner, after spending time at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) to watch Ramy Youssef.
For the occasion, the 12-time Grammy winner showcased her chic sense of style in a sherpa-lined jacket over a thigh-skimming minidress and black semi-sheer tights.
She completed her trendy ensemble with a pair of knee-high burgundy boots and a brown leather handbag.
Her bestie Selena Gomez, 31, dazzled in an matching animal print mini skirt and long coat with a black turtleneck, sheer tights and over the knew black boots.
The Single Soon singer parted her hair on the right side and styled it in long, loose waves.
She wore evening friendly makeup with a bold burgundy lip.
Their pal and Selena’s former Only Murders in the Building co-star Cara Delavigne, 31, looked sleek in a charcoal grey coat, pinstripe pants, a white vest and black boots.
The Suicide Squad actress kept warm with black fingerless gloves and carried a chic black shoulder bag.
Anya Taylor-Joy, 27, kept her look under wraps, covering up her long, blonde locks with a gray scarf around her head.
The Emma star kept warm in a long black ankle length coat.
The Queen’s Gambit star showcased her flawless complexion with light makeup and added a pop of color with a strong pink lip.
Both Taylor and Anya starred in the dark comedy Amsterdam, with Margot Robbie, Christian Bale and John David Washington.
Zoë Kravitz, 35, bundled up in a tan trench coat in the cool Big Apple temperatures.
The actress, who is engaged to Channing Tatum, stepped out in a loose fitting red button down shirt over a pair of wide leg navy blue pants.
The Big Little Lies star wore thick soled black boots.
She wore a navy blue billed cap over her long, dark hair, which was styled in loose curls.
However, there was another lesson to be learned, ‘realizing that other people might still feel the way I did when I felt so alone. It’s important to address our long-standing issues before we turn into the living embodiment of them,’ she advised.
Taylor wrote about the importance of friendship in a 2019 essay for Elle titled 30 Things I Learned Before Turning 30.
The singer and songwriter revealed that ‘never being popular as a kid was always an insecurity for me.’
‘Even as an adult, I still have recurring flashbacks of sitting at lunch tables alone or hiding in a bathroom stall, or trying to make a new friend and being laughed at,’ she recounted.
‘In my twenties I found myself surrounded by girls who wanted to be my friend. So I shouted it from the rooftops, posted pictures, and celebrated my newfound acceptance into a sisterhood,’ she explained.
Taylor and Zoë grew close when they were part of the same quarantine pod during the pandemic lockdown in London in 2020. The actress was there filming The Batman and the Grammy winner was hunkered down with her then boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
‘She was a very important part of being in London, just having a friend that I could see and that would make me home-cooked meals and dinner on my birthday,’ the actress told GQ.
Taylor and Selena first bonded back in 2008 when they were dating Joe and Nick Jonas, respectively.
‘We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together! It was hysterical,’ Selena told KISS FM UK in 2017.
‘It was amazing, because [Taylor] was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked,’ the Ice Cream singer said, adding, ‘It was the best thing we got out of those relationships.’
Selena recently confirmed she is happily coupled with music collaborator Benny Blanco, calling him ‘my absolute everything in my heart,’ in a response on a fan account.
The Anti-Hero singer, as most of the world knows, has been attached to NFL star Travis Kelce, 34, for several months.
The hitmaker may have taken her own advice when beginning her relationship with her current beau.
In the same Elle essay she wrote, ‘It’s impressive when someone can charm people instantly and own the room, but what I know now to be more valuable about a person is not their charming routine upon meeting them (I call it a “solid first 15”), but the layers of a person you discover in time.’
‘Are they honest, self-aware, and slyly funny at the moments you least expect it? Do they show up for you when you need them? Do they still love you after they’ve seen you broken? Or after they’ve walked in on you having a full conversation with your cats as if they’re people? These are things a first impression could never convey. ‘
