Megan Thee Stallion has shared a photo with Cara Delevingne cropped out after the British supermodel was mocked for her ‘bizarre’ behavior at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night in Las Vegas.

The snap – which was posted on Megan’s Instagram Stories shortly after the event – shows the Texas native happily posing with Doja Cat during the ceremony – but an original version of the photo reveals that Cara, 29, was actually sitting between them at the time, before seemingly being Photoshopped out.

Megan, 27, re-posted a series of images from her night at the awards show on Sunday, when she won Best Female Rap Artist, but despite posing several times with Cara throughout the evening, none of those particular photos were shared on the rapper’s Instagram.

In the original version of the altered image that Megan did share of herself and Doja, 26, Cara can be seen in between the two musicians, staring off into the distance while they flash smiles and pouts at the camera.

However in the image that Megan re-posted, Cara has been completely removed – and the space that she occupied has been cropped in order to make it look as though Megan and Doja were sitting right alongside one another.

It comes after Cara was savagely mocked online for appearing to pester the rapper at the awards bash, as she fussed over the train of her dress on the red carpet.

The bizarre behavior began when Megan was posing for the photographers on the carpet at the event; as she was standing having her photo taken, model Cara was caught on camera peering at the rapper from the sidelines.

Cara then jumped into the shoot in order to pick up the train of Megan’s dress, which she began throwing into the air in an apparent attempt to help the musician get a more dramatic photo of the design.

But while Cara’s intentions may have been pure, her actions sent social media into uproar, with both Twitter and Instagram quickly erupting in a host of memes inspired by the moment.

One Twitter user shared an image of Cara peering around the step-and-repeat at Megan while joking: ‘Your chances of being watched by Cara Delevingne are slim but never zero.’

Another person quipped: ‘Megan: PHEW finally lost her. Cara standing right behind her: lost who???’

Another chimed in: ‘why in every piece of media i see of megan at this awards i see cara delevingne 5 inches away from her’.

But it wasn’t just on the red carpet that things got weird.

Fans on Twitter and Instagram also called out Cara for invading Megan’s personal space as she reacted to winning in the Female Rap Artist category.

While Megan appeared to be letting the joyous moment sink in, Cara could be seen leaning in towards her and poking out her tongue – all while the rapper seemingly tried to ignore her.

Cara then began fiddling with the train of Megan’s dress once again, this time as she prepared to walk up to the podium to accept her award, despite it not being a red carpet picture moment.

In the wake of the model’s baffling antics at the Billboard Awards, social media users resurfaced another of her eyebrow-raising moments, bringing back to light a video of her pretending to licks Azealia Banks’ leg while the rapper was trying to perform at a Halloween party in October.

A resurfaced clip shows Cara crouched down on the floor of a stage by Azealia’s feet, repeatedly pretending to lick at her leg, before moving up the entire side of her body, eventually aiming her tongue towards the performer’s ear.

However, Azealia looks nonplussed as she tries to continue with her performance without getting distracted by Cara.

It took place Leah McSweeney’s Halloween party last year, during the performance of her hit song 212.

The Billboard Awards incident also sparked a deep dive into Cara’s behavior, with the Daily Beast calling her ‘Hollywood’s weirdest – and most unwelcome – party girl’ claiming she ‘practically terrorized’ Megan.

Some fans even accused Cara of ‘fetishizing black women.’

‘Do people realize what Cara was doing last night was fetishizing and dehumanizing Black women???’ one person tweeted, while another added: ‘Cara Delevingne is weird, please stop fetishizing black women.’
